Students accepted to the Loudoun All County String Orchestra – Middle School

Congratulations to Megan Reddy (Eagle Ridge Middle School) and Raymond Hang (Lunsford Middle School) for being accepted to the Loudoun All County String Orchestra – 1st Violin section! Megan and Raymond are both private violin students of Mr. Alan Aranas. Hundreds of students auditioned for a seat in the orchestra on December 8, 2012. Keep up the great work everyone!

MUSIC COMPOSERS @ the MAVA JUNE SUMMER CAMP

Our group of young composers had a chance to work with our team of composers: Alan Aranas & Sebastian Valenzuela. The students worked on the following composition ideas: Melody writing. Music Sequencing on their laptops. Music notation on paper and in Sibelius/Finale. Utilized Reason and GarageBand (Apple) to explore their ideas. Students had their pieces performed and recorded.

MAVA SUMMER MUSIC JUNE CAMP WAS AWESOME!

STRING ENSEMBLES: We just finished our 2 week MAVA music summer camp!
